Celebrating Leadership Excellence

Strategic advisory for boards, associations, and the executives who lead them

Boards and association leaders face decisions every day that don't come with a clear playbook โ€” succession, strategy, technology shifts, member expectations that keep evolving. After sixteen years sitting in the CEO chair myself, I bring a peer's perspective to those conversations: practical, candid, and grounded in what actually works.

Experience That Matters

I've spent most of my career as a non-profit CEO โ€” leading national trade associations through growth, restructuring, and the kind of board-CEO conversations that don't make it into the annual report. That seat taught me what works, what doesn't, and how to tell the difference quickly.

Now I bring that perspective to other organizations. Sometimes that means helping a board sharpen its governance and find its rhythm. Sometimes it means coaching a new executive through their first year. Sometimes it means cutting through the noise on AI to figure out what's actually useful for an association. The common thread is honest counsel from someone who's been on your side of the table.
